Today marks the first day of school for 2010. Gone are the kids, and my sanity returns. Aaahh....peace and quiet at last. Well still not that quiet until the wee one starts her pre-school next week.
Here is Chloe with her two best friends, Alice (pronounced "Er-liss" as she's part French) and Tiah, who towers over me! They're all in Ms Wallis' class this year and in Year 6....her last year in primary school before she moves on to Middle school next year (definitely not looking forward to that!).
Cutie Brandon in his brand new school bucket hat. He's in Ms Williams class and is in Year 3. He was a bit teary-eyed at first because his best friend Oliver isn't back from holidays yet. He cheered up when his teacher gave him the opportunity to pick Ollie's desk right next to his.
All in all the start of school day ended well and the kids were extremely happy in getting back with their friends :)

Ah Pak's Birthday!
Today is also Uncle Peter's (Ah Pak) birthday. We celebrated his birthday with a dinner-do at the grandparents' house. Chloe made cupcakes for Ah Pak. Guess how old he's turning??
