Parap Olympics Concert

This year, in conjuction with the London Olympics, the Parap Primary School's concert theme was Olympics. Their stage performances are all about the Olympics.

Brandon's class started off the concert with a story about ancient Olympics, how it came about. he looks so cute here in his Toga.

 

 

 

Children from other classes dance and sang to the Olympic tunes. 

 

 

 

Alyssa's class, together with their buddy class, showcased some of the sports that are participated at the Olympics. At their school, they operate under the Buddy Bear system whereby each older kid is assigned a younger child. Every fortnight, the buddies get together, and the older kids will spend time with the younger kids...helping them with their school work, looking after them when they're out at play, or just simply providing leadership and role model to the little ones. This system is to prevent bullying in and out of school.

 

 

As you can imagine, the night is not without some mischief for some. Obviously, someone finds the stage props more interesting than the show itself!
